Ui da war jmd schneller wollte dasselbe auch gerade posten
Scheint wirklcih gut zu sein, endlich werden Kategorien unterstützt und auch
sämtliche Adressfelder syncronisert.Wenn das alles funzt ist die Software gekauft.

Funktioniert bestens!! Ich bin begeistert - und ich finde den Preis gerechtfertigt weil es einfach endlich mal ohne Probleme funktioniert.... und zwar wirklich völlig ohne Probleme!

Endlich kann man bei den Kontakten die Bilder mit Synchen :tongue:
iTunes und iPhoto Unterstützung ist auch was feines - eine tolle Software, die mit Version 5 noch mal einen drauf gelegt hat

Finde nur was mit Upgrade und mit dirket online kaufen.Würde gerne vorher mal testen.

PS: Könnte sowieso ein Prob geben, da ich die Vorgängerversion schonmal ausprobiert hab, der Mehrwert aber damals für mich nicht gegeben war.

Tja hab nun mal a bissl getestet.
Da ich noch OS X 10.3 habe muss ich immer noch mit dem iSync Tool syncen und komme so nicht in den Genuss der erweiterten Felder und Kategorien

Angesichts des extrem überzogenen Upgrade-Preises werde ich allerdings dennoch bei der aktuellen Version 4.0.6 bleiben...! Die läuft bei mir sauber und stabil, auch wenn einige der neuen Features durchaus reizvoll wären...
Ich bin keineswegs geizig, aber die knapp 25 US$ für das Update halte ich für total unangemessen...!

PS: Vor allem ist es ärgerlich, dass Palm selbst es nicht schafft mal ne gescheite Software für den
Mac herzustellen. -
So, die Demo ist installiert. Dann über BT das erste Mal synchronisiert und jetzt resetet der Treo beim Aufruf von datebk der Standart Kalender geht.
Ich habe dann noch einmal gesynct und immernoch das Problem. Morgen gehts weiter. gute Nacht. Vieleicht installiere ich mal eine neuere Datebk Version....
Edit: Wie es so ist, die Neugier trieb mich noch eben dazu die aktuelle Datebk Version drüber zu bügeln. Jetzt lübt es. Nur muss ich wohl mal undupe bemühen

Kann mir jemand eine info zum sync protocoll von missing sync geben? Nutze datebbk und denke der Hinwies liegt im fettgedruckten.
Ich habe immer noch doppelte und fehlende Einträge. Weiß im moment leider nicht weiter. Edit: ich sehe gerade die Fehler kommen von den Kontakten...

So,
ich war es leid. Desktop überschreibt Handheld... jetzt geht alles.
Man sollte sich auch die Anleitung vor dem synchronisieren durchlesen. Es steht darin das man erst einen sync mit isync machen soll und dann missing sync. Beim Popup soll man dann die Option "alle Kontakte vor dem synchronisieren löschen" wählen.
Das war wohl mein Fehler.

Wenn Palm clever wäre, würden sie das Ding beerdigen und ne Lizenz von MissingSync dazupacken.

Aha! Ich hatte in meinem Eifer zuerst den Palm Desktop installiert, weil ich dachte, den würde ich gebrauchen. Nach einem halben Jahr fällt mir aber auf, das ich den überhaupt nicht brauche.
Was meint Ihr, kann ich jetzt so einfach löschen? Oder macht dann MissingSync Zicken?
