nur bestimmte Kategorien syncen

    Ich hoffe alle haben Weihnachten gut überstanden und nicht zuviel Speck angesetzt :D.
    Aber so kurz nach Weihnachten holt einen der Alltag auch schon wieder ein. Darum meine Frage:


    Ich möchte meinen Palm mit Outlook syncen, allerdings nur für Kalender und Aufgaben einer Kategorie "Firma". Mit ActiveSync geht dies. Beim Hotsync nicht, oder? Leider finde ich keine Einstellung, obwohl ich glaube, daß ich mich eigentlich ganz gut in der Palmwelt auskenne ;).
    Vorraussetzung: Sync über Palm Hotsync + Outlook Conduits. Installiert ist die letzte Version 4.14E des PalmDesktop + Outlook 2002. Vondiesen Vorraussetzungen kann ich nicht abweichen.

    Ich kram die Sache nochmal raus!


    Da ich keine Antwort bekommen habe (keine Antwortr ist bekanntlich auch eine Antwort :D )
    gehe ich davon aus,daß ich nicht zu blöd war, nicht genug hier gesucht habe ...!


    Somit stellt sich mir die Frage, gibt es eine Software, die dies kann? Intellisync habe ich inzwischen getestet - geht auch nicht. Weiß hier jemand noch eine Lösung?

    Da tät ja auch mich interessieren,
    da ich zuhause auf meinem Rechner nicht die ganzen 1000 Kontakte von der Firma haben will, sondern nur die Provaten, wäre das eigentlich ganz hilfreich.


    Ich glaube das Programm das das können muss, ist eher ein Add On zum HotSync Manager?

    Die C't schreibt in der Ausgabe 24/2005 S164-169:
    1 synct bis zu 15 Ordner auf die Palm-Kategorien
    2 packt alle Unterordner in eine Kategorie, mann kann aber hier Filter benutzen, um das ganze einzugrenzen


    ob ihr jetzt einzelne Ordner von Outlook zu- und abschalten könnt weis ich nicht. Schaut euch am besten mal die Handbücher der Programme an

    Also intellisync kanns nicht, hatte ich ja oben schon geschrieben. Pocketmirror in der alten Version beim M515 auch nicht. Mal sehen,was die aktuelle denn kann.

    How do I sync Outlook subfolders between Outlook and myhandheld device?


    Answer
    Unfortunately, the Outlook subfolder structure is not duplicated on Pockets PC/Windows CE devices and Palm devices when using Intellisync to sync your data. However, it is possible to keep the Outlook subfolder structure intact between syncs, if the following guidelines are followed.


    First, please create a category with the exact name of every Outlook Subfolder. For example, if you have a subfolder named IBM, then you need to create a category named IBM. Each record in this IBM subfolder needs to have the IBM category selected as an attribute.


    Second, you need to create a filter in Intellisync Configure->Advanced Settings->Filters for every subfolder. Name the filters the name of the subfolders. For example, you will create a filter named IBM. The Field will be Categories. The Operator will be Equals. The Value will be IBM.


    Third, you need to repeat the next steps for each subfolder you have. If you have 10 subfolders, you will need to repeat the next four steps 10 times.


    1) Open Intellisync Configure, highlight Contacts, select Choose, and then Browse. Make sure only one subfolder is selected in Selected Folders in the bottom rectangle. In this example, it will be IBM.


    2) In Intellisync Configure->Advanced Settings->Filters, select the correct filter. In this example, it will be IBM.


    3) Please complete the following instructions to delete the Intellisync history files. The history files remember your last sync. If they are corrupted, the sync will not function properly. Deleting Intellisync history files simulate a fresh sync.


    Please try the following:


    1. Launch Windows Explorer
    2. Locate the Intellisync program directory, e.g. C:\Program Files\Pumatech\Intellisync
    3. Perform a recursive search in the Intellisync program directory for files with extensions:
    (a) .log
    (b) .ish
    (c) .bk0
    (d) .ini
    An easy way to run a recursive search is to do the following:
    * Right click on Start and select Explore
    * Go C: -> Program Files -> Pumatech
    * Right click on the Intellisync folder and select Search
    * Type in *.log, *.ini, *.ish, *.bk0
    4. Delete the types of files mentioned in the previous step
    5. Minimize Windows Explorer
    6. Launch <Intellisync configuration utility>
    7. Select <section> for synchronization - ensure other sections are unchecked or deselected
    8. Save the configuration by clicking OK
    9. Close <Intellisync configuration utility>


    4) Perform a sync.


    Es mag funktionieren wenn man dies für sich selbst "bastelt". Es funktioniert jedoch nicht, wenn man eine gößere Zahl User damit "beglücken" will. Wenn schon ein Produkt zuzukaufen ist, dann muß dies auch weitestgehend "out of the box" funktionieren.


    Trotzdem danke für die Tips, zumal Chapura's pocketmirror wohl die notwendige Funktionalität bietet. Jetzt heißt es testen ob dies auch mit unserer CRM Anwendung+Outlook funktioniert.
